JB caught up with AJ Styles post No Surrender last night and got an interview with him. Dixie Carter also presented AJ with the World Heavyweight Championship

AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle, Sting, Matt Morgan & Hernandez (who cashed in his Feat or Fired Case) to WIN the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! The closing moments of this great match are: Sting has Angle down and locks in the Scorpion Deathlock. Angle counters into an Ankle Lock. Sting gets close to the ropes, but Angle pulls him back out. Morgan then levels Angle with a big boot. Sting sends Morgan over the top rope to the outside. Sting is left in the ring with Styles and Angle. Angle is still down and Sting looks at Styles and leaves the ring on purpose taking out Morgan. Styles then hits a springboard 450 and pins Angle to win the match! After the match confetti starts falling as pyro begans to shoot off. Daniels hits the ring to celebrate the win with his friend and then fans jump in the ring to celebrate with AJ as well!

I was just looking around online, and found current plans for tonights No Surrender Pay Per View and plans for the next couple weeks of iMPACT! and for TNA’s next PPV, Bound for Glory. Hover over the section below if you are interested in reading.

TNA’s current creative plan for the World Heavyweight Championship bout at this month’s No Surrender pay-per-view calls for “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles to recapture the belt. This would then lead to a “Title vs. Career” match between Styles and Sting at the following month’s pay-per-view, Bound for Glory.

But please note that these plans could change at any minute, but more than likely won’t be.

AJ didn’t have a match on iMPACT last night but was in a backstage segment with “The Icon” Sting:

Lauren is now with A.J. Styles and make up free Sting. Lauren asks what will happen if they are in the ring together on Sunday. Sting says that they all want to be the best. Twenty years ago, Sting wanted to be the best and he wants to be the best on Sunday. Sting says that he might be A.J.’s teacher, but he is not going to let A.J. walk in the ring without putting up a fight. A.J. talks about how Sting kept A.J. from walking away from something he loves. A.J. says that Sunday will be his night.

Jeremy Borash posted on Twitter yesterday (Thursday) that AJ’s wife Wendy gave birth to a baby boy who they named Albey, he weighed 7lbs 7oz. Congrats to AJ & Wendy on their new bundle of joy!
